There are exciting works underway for Boothby’s south, with the Seacliff redevelopment bringing 600 residential properties to our community.
Along with a boost to jobs in construction and trade and housing in the area, we will see more traffic on our roads.
As some of you have expressed to me, this influx of traffic will impact the flow through the intersection of Ocean Boulevard and Scholefield Road. We will also see ambulances accessing these roads more frequently from the new health centre, as well as traffic from the major shopping centre and childcare centre planned as part of the development.
With the development expected to be completed in two years, we want to hear your opinions now to understand what will best assist our community in safely navigating roads and traffic around the area.
I would love to hear your thoughts

Work is already underway – jointly funded by the Federal and State Labor Governments – to remove the tram level crossings at Marion and Cross Road in Plympton and Morphett Road in Morphettville.
And we are investing in the safety of local roads by doubling the funding available to local governments under the Roads to Recovery program.
Only Labor will make the investments necessary to improve our roads.
