Every time you tap your card, banks and payment platforms take a cut. Small businesses get hit even harder, paying higher fees than big businesses, many are forced to surcharge to remain competitive.
With 75% of Australians using digital payments, it’s clear the system needs to change. The technology for fee-free payments exists, but banks aren’t offering it at the checkout.
The RBA is conducting a surcharge review. Let the RBA and Parliament know that enough is enough by signing the petition.
