I am proud to be part of a Government that is committed to establishing five new Medicare Urgent Care Clinics in South Australia, including one in Boothby at Bedford Park.
The Urgent Care Clinic will work to take pressure off our emergency departments and make it easier for South Australians to see a doctor or nurse when they have an urgent, but not life threatening, need for care.
The Clinics will also be bulk-billed, helping to ease cost of living pressures, so Boothby residents don’t have to go without the medical care they need.
It will provide time-critical and bulk-billed treatments that don’t need a hospital emergency department, such as for sprains and broken bones, wound care, minor ear and eye problems and minor burns.
