$2 MILLION BOOST FOR SURF LIFE SAVING CLUBS IN BOOTHBY UNDER LABOR

A re-elected Albanese Labor Government will invest $2 million in surf clubs along the coastline of Adelaide’s inner south, to upgrade facilities, support volunteers, and enhance community safety.

The $2 million in support for local Surf Life Saving Clubs in Boothby, includes $500,000 investment in each of the following clubs:

  • Brighton Surf Life Saving Club
  • Seacliff Surf Life Saving Club
  • Somerton Park Surf Life Saving Club
  • Glenelg Surf Life Saving Club

This will help ensure our volunteer surf lifesavers can best perform their duties and keep South Australian beaches safe.

Labor’s commitment recognises that our surf life saving clubs are at the heart of our coastal communities.

I am so pleased a re-elected Albanese Labor Government is backing these clubs, which play a vital role in keeping South Australians safe at the beach.

They’re powered by volunteers, serve thousands of families and visitors each year, and deserve fit-for-purpose facilities to keep doing what they do best – saving lives.
